Terms of service

By accessing peps.football or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. PEPs is operated by Matos SRL, a Belgian limited liability company. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

PEPs is a free-to-play prediction game for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. You predict matches, you earn points based on our scoring rules, you compete with friends in leagues. No money winnings are tied to free use of the service. PEPs is a game of skill, not a gambling product.

• You provide accurate information at sign-up (a valid email, a display name that does not impersonate someone else).
• One account per person. Multiple accounts will be merged or removed.
• You are responsible for the security of the email mailbox tied to your account — anyone with access to it can sign in via the magic link.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

While using PEPs, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users (via display names, league names, or any other free-text field).
• Impersonate another person.
• Automatically extract data from the service at scale (scraping) without written permission.
• Attempt to manipulate results, leaderboards, or to cheat in any way.
• Circumvent technical limits, security measures, or paid features.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.

Your predictions, display name, profile picture, and league names belong to you. By submitting them to PEPs, you grant us a limited right to display them in the context of the service (in the leagues you join, on your shareable cards, in leaderboards). This license ends when you delete your account or the relevant content.

PEPs offers enough free features to play. Paid plans (Plus, Pro, Premium) will be available in a later version; pricing and terms will be displayed clearly before any purchase. Payments will be processed by app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) or a payment provider such as Stripe; refunds follow those platforms' policies and applicable law. No payment is required to use PEPs in v1.

The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Match dates, line-ups, and official results depend on FIFA and our data providers; we are not liable for upstream errors.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. In line with our privacy policy, your email is removed immediately and the associated data is permanently deleted after 30 days. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms, notifying you by email when possible.

To the extent permitted by law, PEPs and Matos SRL are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service. Our total liability to you, for any cause whatsoever, is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the past 12 months (zero on the free tier).

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute is submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, except as otherwise required by mandatory law (notably consumer rights of EU residents).

We may update these Terms. The last-updated date appears at the top. For substantial changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept it.
